인문계열 대학원 석사 과정 논문을 적으며 정리해 두었던 영어 표현:

The author assumes that the data from the cited survey has produced a reliable result.

 

 

The author might have drawn a conclusion about ~ based on a sample that might not be representative.

 

 

The result might have been drawn from an unrepresentative set of sample.

 

 

It is uncertain(=questionable/not sure) whether the representativeness of participants has been warranted.

 

 

It is uncertain(=questionable/not sure) if the sample is significant in its size as a portion of the overall population.

 

 

Biased sample might have skewed the result of the survey.

 

 

If sample size is not enough or biased, the survey result might not accurately reflect.

 

 

If poorly designed questionnaire have caused a critical number of participants to misrepresent facts in order to accommodate to answer choices, it might have produced misleading results which could undermine the whole argument.

 

 

Further evidence pertaining to whether the sample is fully representative or not might weaken or strengthen the author's claim(=assumption/argument).
